Mactera spawn have very simple tactics: get out of melee range, attack a target with their sting shot.
“As if creepy-crawlies weren’t bad enough – now there’s flying ones too!” – A greenbeard learning that Glyphids aren’t the only creatures which call the mines home.
Mactera spawn and Mactera in general resemble stubby, fat wasps. Mactera spawn are covered in a dark green exoskeleton which protects most of their body although their acid green abdomens, from which they fire their seven inch long stingers, remain exposed.
